Our Training Academy delivers comprehensive courses — from basic phone understanding, dismantling and assembling, all the way to specialized mastery in board-level smartphone repair. Every course is built around real store experience, real devices, and real problems.

Do I need prior repair experience?+
No prior experience needed. SPR Academy's Basic course starts from zero — component identification, tool fundamentals, screen and battery replacement. Beginners from all 13 Malaysian states join every month and earn a certificate on completion.
How much do the courses cost?+

Do I get a certificate?+
Yes. Every graduate receives an SPR Academy completion certificate, issued by SPR Smart Phone Repair — Malaysia's largest phone repair chain. Intermediate and Advanced levels include a practical exam; passers get a specialty grade noted on the certificate, useful for job applications.
Where are classes held?+
SPR Academy's only campus is in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: 15, Jalan Metro Perdana Timur 2, Taman Usahawan Kepong, 52100 Kuala Lumpur. Open Mon–Sat 10am–7pm (closed Sunday). The campus has full working repair equipment and free student parking.
Can I join SPR after graduation?+
Yes. Top graduates are invited to join SPR's 16 branches across Malaysia as full-time technicians, with starting salary based on the course level completed. Graduates who want to open their own shop receive location, equipment-procurement, technical and after-sales support.
Is the course Android-only or iPhone-only?+
Both are covered. Basic (iPhone) 2 days focuses on iPhone. Basic+ (iPhone + Android) 3 days covers both platforms at entry level. Intermediate (6 days) and Advanced (4 months) go deep into board-level repair, microsoldering and water-damage recovery on both platforms.

Who founded SPR Academy?+
SPR was founded by Guan Zhenhao (关镇豪) in 2015. A high-school dropout, he learned phone repair during the Nokia 3310 era and grew SPR from zero to 16 branches in three years. SPR Academy is the group's training arm — opening 15 years of real shop experience to anyone willing to learn.
Can I open my own repair shop after graduating?+
Yes. The Advanced course (4 months) includes business fundamentals — site selection, equipment procurement, pricing, customer management and shop operations. Many SPR Academy graduates have opened independent repair shops across Malaysia, with ongoing technical and parts-supply support from the SPR group.
