Pahang students from Kuantan, Temerloh and Bentong typically drive 3 hours via the East Coast Expressway, or take a 4-hour bus from Kuantan Sentral to TBS then MRT to Kepong. Cameron Highlands students often combine drive + bus. Pahang has no SPR Smart Phone Repair branch yet, which makes certified technicians scarce on the east coast — Kuantan graduates frequently report month-1 freelance bookings filling 5 days a week, particularly screen replacements for fishermen and oil & gas workers in Kemaman and Pekan.
